Trademark Registration - UK or CTM (Europe)

Registering a trade mark is the way to own your brand name or logo.  A trade mark also protects you from infringing on the rights of others.  Registering a company or domain name is not the way to claim exclusive rights over a name and these registrations are vulnerable to cancellation at the request of a trade mark owner with better rights to the name.

UK or EU?
Trade marks are territorial>  This means you need to register on a country by country basis whenever you trade in a particular territory.  If your business is local, like a restaurant, then UK trademark registration may be the right option for you, dependingon your business plans.

EU trademark registration is recommended if you trade throughout Europe, as a Community Trade Mark provides an effective way to register in all 27 countries using a single application.  A European application includes the UK so you either one or the other, not both.

Our trademark registration services include:

  • Fixed fees for a smooth application from beginning to end
  • No hidden costs
  • Drafting your application and classification descriptions*
  • Posting your trademark certificate on registration*
  • Free Trademark Aftercare Information

*Only applicable for Solo, Standard and Gold options

If you are on a tighter budget, we can alternatively help you file your own trade mark as part of our Trade Mark Ally service.
